Engraved Brick Donations
We are raising money to help pay for the Veterans Memorial Park in Rolla, Mo. by selling engraved bricks to go around the center monument. The bricks will be placed on the perimeter of the Pentagon Monument. Currently there are only 225 available spaces around the Monument so make sure and reserve your brick as soon as possible. A single 4”x8” brick can be engraved with your choice of wording for a donation of $50 or more. The engraving will be in capital letters and filled with black.

Veterans Memorial Park

Veterans Memorial Park will serve as a venue for veterans funerals, military and non-military weddings as well as military and civic holiday activities. -
This will not be a children's park with athletic fields, playground equipment, or sporting events.

Currently, funding is not available. Estimated expenses for completion of the park total $1.5 million dollars. Funding will depend primarily on grants and donations (monetary, material, labor and time.)

The park property is ready for development. Preliminary park design is in its initial stages.

This will be a "green" park and the first of its kind for the community. The SCRVG want to teach by example by including in the park design innovative eco-friendly technologies such as rain gardens, native plantings and permeable pavement.

Veterans Memorial Park will include such features as an amphitheater with dais, a POW/MIA memorial gazebo, a water feature and an eight foot wide walking trail featuring plaques detailing the history of all major US military engagements.

The park will be fully handicap accessible and open to all.

This project will provide instant stimulus to the economy of the area through both the purchase of materials and employment of people in various fields of expertise.

How to make Donations
For tax deduction purposes, donations should be made to any one of the following:
- Korean War Veterans Association
- American Legion
- Veterans of Foreign Wars
- Disabled American Veterans
"Veterans Memorial Park" should be noted on the bottom of your check.
